A visionary pastor and teacher representing a new generation of leaders, Rev. Courtney
Clayton Jenkins serves as the Senior Pastor and Teacher of South Euclid United Church of Christ (SEUCC).

From 40 members, to well over 750 active members, South Euclid United Church of Christ has experienced exponential growth under her leadership and has gained recognition as one of the region’s most dynamic congregations.

On April 5, 2018, Rev. Courtney was inducted into the College of Pastoral Leadership at Morehouse College. Rev. Jenkins has been recently recognized in Crain’s Cleveland Forty
under 40, YWCA Woman of Achievement and she was featured in GRIO as one of the Black
Women preachers who changed—and are changing—history.

Rev. Courtney is a graduate of the Convocation of Christian Leaders at Duke University and the Louisville Institute for pastoral leaders. Both programs are designed for emerging Christian leaders and their churches.
Rev. Courtney is a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. and a charter member of the Erie Shores Chapter of Jack and Jill of America, Inc.
Rev. Jenkins holds a Masters of Divinity from Princeton Theological Seminary with a concentration in Preaching and Congregational Ministry and a Bachelor of Arts in English
Literature from Spelman College. She has been blessed with an amazing son named Caleb.
Rev. Courtney is committed to and humbled by God’s calling and purpose upon her life. As she joyfully leads her congregation in serving God, she continues to pursue discipleship well beyond its walls to find ways for the next generation to impact the nation with His unconditional love and almighty power.
